Austrian floods: Towns under water


Hujan lebat menyebabkan banjir dan tanah runtuh yang meluas di Austria pada hari Ahad. Beratus-ratus orang telah dipaksa untuk mengosongkan rumah mereka. Sekurang-kurangnya seorang mati dalam tanah runtuh di St Johann berhampiran Salzburg, dan 2 orang yang hilang selepas dihanyutkan di sungai mengamuk. Torrential rain caused widespread flooding and landslides in Austria on Sunday. Hundreds of people have been forced to evacuate their homes. At least one person died in a mudslide in St Johann near Salzburg, and two people are missing after being swept away in raging streams. A flood alarm was still in place for the northern side of the Alps on Monday morning, but the weather was supposed to improve throughout the day. Report by Mark Morris.
